When writing essays you need to start off with something off topic that has metaphorical meaning that relates to the topic you are writing about. This is to grab readers/listeners attention.
Then when you close it off come back to it closing off your essay.
It shows organized and clean writing.
There should be 5 paragraphs (if one page if more than of course add more)
1: Intro state points/topics
2: First point, main topic
3: Second point, main topic
4: Third point, main topic
5: closing re state points/topics
An introduction should catch the readers attention so that they read on. So, you could say something like...
I chose this day to change the way I do things. I am putting my attitude, my weight and the company I keep in check. I'm sixteen now and at this age comes a lot of responsibility.
Then, within your first body you elaborate on how you plan to check your attitude, The next body, your weight. Th third body your friends. Finally your conclusion reiterates how being sixteen makes you more responsible and thats why you decided to make the self adjustments.
