Sardinia? A "Foody" vacation...? A friend of mine and I would like to make a trip to Italy in the next 3 to 4 months. We are looking for a frugal way to enjoy a tour of the country and Sardinia as well. We would want to follow the cuisine as much as the sites. Ideas? I already hopped on line and found 8 night stays to be around 4000 for the 2 of us but would like to bring that number down as much as I can.
Suppose I should include that we will be traveling from Kansas City, MO. USA
