i need something to bond the rubber covering the joystick from my ps3 controller...

...to the plastic under it? The joystick nob itself is all plastic and then there is a rubber piece that goes over that for comfort and things for the thumb, but it has come off and torn and i need something to bond the rubber piece covering to the plastic.

There are silicone rubber glues that are designed for that kind of application. They need to be taped/clamped on for the first hour until the glue sets and then left alone for another few hours. After that they bond so strongly.that trying to pull the parts apart will rip the rubber coating.
