I need to know everything i can about quicksand, im going hiking next week?

If you get stuck what do you do
Can someoen not submerged in quicksands pull you out if your in it
What is it you shouldn't do when you get stuck
What are any warning for avoiding quicksand
is there any scenario where getting out of it is absolutely impossible?
Feel free to add more facts as I said I need to know everything
