If I eat more than 1000 calories a day I usually feel like puking. I don't have an eating disorder and I never have. I know that usually 1500 calories is the recommended amount. But I just don't have much of an appetite. What should I do.
By the way, I'm 18'3"\and 150 lbs
I have been checked for anemia, thyroid problems and diabetes, I don't have any of them
I'm not trying to loose weight and yes it does affect my health, I'm very lethargic (tired all the time)
I DONT COUNT CALORIES!!!! I JUST TOLD YOU I"M NOT TRYING TO LOOSE WEIGHT!!! You don't have to count every calorie to estimate how many you eat a day.
If your looking aat loosing weight they say 1200-1500 is proper but i only eat about 1000 too.. and im loosing alot of weight but i go to the gym 3 hours a day. and burn over 2000 caleries there. so thats probley why.. but i do feel light headed most the tyme!
QUIT counting calories!! That doesn't help any of us to have better health.
Count instead Carbohydrate grams. All plant based foods are carbohydrate foods. But not all are created equally. Milk products are carbohydrate foods.
Get one of the Atkins Carbohydrate Counter books. they are not expensive, easily available in most every store that has any foods or magazine sales.
The American Dietetics Association says to eat around 300 grams of carbohydrates per day. I only eat around 100 per day. I am much healthier since I started eating the low carb, sufficient protein and fats food plan than I was before eating the MyFoodPyramid plan.
