I really wonder if there can ever be a two state solution in Israel/Palestine?

It may be redundant. I symphatised with the cause of Israelis wanting to come back to their promised land but the more I read into it, it's all pure religious justification despite the fact they claimed to be secular. They do have the right to live and stay in Israel of cos but I'm starting to question the right of their governmental control over British Mandate of Palestine. Most of the jews are of different ethnicities so unless they are religious why wud they even want to stay in Israel? They have roots in let's say Russia, India, Europe, Morocco too. It's just like saying, all muslims should live in Saudi Arabia.

Another concern is that while the prime minister of Israel said he wants a two state solution, what he did was exactly the opposite. Which country in this world has the right except for Israel to build settlements on other country's land? So even if Palestine is to be granted a a country status, it'd be an almost impossible scenario since some 500,000 jew settlers will be caught in within Palestine territories. What's amusing is that the land that Israel had now more that enough to contain their whole population. What baffles me too is that, the contradiction Israel had with itself.

*** Constructive and rational replies are most welcome :)
