insurance increase? I parked my car in a parking lot to smoke cigs with my friends. Cops arrived and asked if they could search my car. I said no and they searched it anyway. Once they searched it they found alcohol and tabacco. I am 17. They only gave me a ticket for possession of alcohol. If I pay for this ticket will my car insurance raise? I live in the state of Illinois and I'm scared because I want to pay for this ticket without my parents finding out about the situation. A rise in my insurance, which my parents pay for, would result in them finding out. Try to answer in a way I can understand. Im scared please help!
