I scratch myself to the point that I bleed?

The skin on my legs will start to constantly itch so i scratch them. They stop itching but I just keep scratching them, and then they start to bleed.
Is this weird?
I don't purposely do it or like it.
It just feels good then I look and they are bleeding.
Is something wrong
