a loong time ago when I was just 18, and ended up owing them a bunch of money. It was with telus... Can I still get a cell phone plan under a different carier, ie. rogers, bell etc. ?
If you paid the old bill, it will show you payed it on your credit report. If you didn't, the new cell phone company might require you to put a deposit down before they will give you a contract. If they do, request that in 6 months, if your payment history shows you have been on time, that they return your deposit.
