I think I'm pregnant but I tested negative, my doctor laughed @ me like I was a joke?

she's overweight & I'm thin, I told her weird things have been going on plus I've been gaining weight in my stomach & she made a comment about how small I am. I KNOW MY BODY I tested negative on the urine test but I made her give me a blood test. The results are up in the air

has anyone had a negative urine & positive blood test

I have all the pregancy symptons expect I'm not throwing up, I even have a pouch on my lower belly :-/ I've never had a stomach & I'm not eating alot yet gaining weight
 
Find a new doctor! lol....I was told that I had ovarian cysts one week and the next told I was five weeks pregnant. This was my previous pregnancy. Then I have had the pregnancy where I was having negative urine test and positive blood test. Just try to be patient and wait a couple of weeks then pop another test. My thumbs are up on YOUR PREGNANT! But then again i'm just a mother of two and pregnant with my thrid. Not a doctor...lol...Good Luck, Suga!
 
Your doctor had no right to laugh in your face. No decent doctor should humiliate their patients like that, and I would change doctors.

During my first pregnancy, I had several negative urine tests but a positive blood test. That was at 4 weeks from my last period. So yes it is possible very early in the pregnancy.

If you really had 'a pouch', you would DEFINITELY have a positive result on a urine test by now. It is absolutely impossible to be far enough to have a pouch, but not far enough to get a positive urine test. I think you may be imagining that part.

But yes you could be pregnant, but only the blood test can tell you for sure! All the best xxxx
 
I had a negative urine test with my first child, and the nurse came in and said Technically your not late and I looked at her and said According to my body thats always on schedule I am LATE! I was so irritated that she said that and my doctor agreed with her. So i said well can you please take my blood and she said sure w/e.....she called 3 days later apologizing saying I was very pregnant! So its possible. But blood tests don't lie :)

As for the tests, it depends on how far along you are. If you're not far along, then you can have a negative urine test and be negative.

If you want to be pregnant, you can mentally convince yourself you are. You'll have symptoms if that's the case.
 
yes i did with my current pregnancy and test positive the day on a urine test after my positive blood test. before then i had been testing every other day and all negatives.
 
Id laugh too. You dont have a pouch until a urine test is way past detecting it.
 
The blood test detect HCG sooner than a urine test does. The amount of HCG in your body helps detect your pregnancy so the more HCG the sooner the positive result test.

Positive Blood test? You are Pregant..
