I got a male betta fish 2 days ago at Pet Supplies. He came in a container that had very little rocks in and it was a bit blurry. It looked like it was cleaned about 5 days ago. Its the kind of betta with the long flowy fin. So i got him home, put him in a specified betta tank (a green one:]) it has clean rocks, clean plants and all in it. I looked up a lot of research about diseases it might have. It said non-severe fin rot starts out with white tips on the fin. Well,i looked at him later that night and noticed white tips on his tail. His main color is white, but his tail is red and icey blue. He's a very active fish though. So if he does have fin rot,its obviously caught early. I have no uploaded pictures of him right now. And he's very welcome with my company instead of hiding under a rock every time i walk in the room. Every time i walk in,he goes up to the front of the tank to greet me
. He's a very wonderful fish and i love him a lot. If he does have fin rot, what kind of medicine will i need? Is it best to just ignore it? How long will it take for it turn into a severe case?
