i think my own mother hates me?

im 19, and in college. i have good grades in school, i work, and i dont get in trouble. my mom hates my friends for no good reason.. she thinks just because i read cosmo im a slut. she calls me mean names all the time and even said she wished i was never born last week.. i dont know what to do. why does she do this? what should i do?? :-\
 
Oh wow is your mom Psychically alright? Have you perhaps considered she could have a problem, most likely a stress or bipolar type thing going on? My mom has acted pretty strange to me like you mentioned but she has Bipolar I found out like me. Try to talk to your Dad or a sibling anyone in your family or who would know and be honest about your concerns. Maybe somethings going on she isn't telling you. Don't blame yourself whatever you do, it's really hard raising someone it sounds like she might have an problem with all the anxiety. I'm not saying that's any excuse I'm saying if this is not her normal type stuff somethings going on, but don't blame yourself your a great daughter what else can you do.
 
move out. you'll never get her approval so save your energy for the things in life that give you pleasure, fulfillment, and enjoyment and let her stew in her own bile.
