i tried to jailbreak my iphone 4.2.1 with greenpoison...?

using directions from instructables.com

and now my screen is black with all kinds of messages written in tiny white letters. the phone wont turn off. is this normal? what should i do? i just got my phone and im scared i messed it up. help please!
jail breaking is legal in the US so don't tell me you cant help
but what should i DO? how do i get it to turn on again?

we cant help with jail break, its not allowed, how bout you support the developers and pay for products?
