I try to sign up for iTunes but it freezes?

I can't sign up! When I click sign up, it says Accessing iTunes Store and freezes. Then I have to shut the whole program down. I keep trying but it won't work. Also, I have tried restarting my computer, and no other windows/programs are on. Help!
