different color than clear/white? I design houseplans, and I would really want to have a darker colored (rather than just the plain clear I see all the time) translucent wall separating the kitchen and a hall.
If you're really well off you could do a backlit alabaster wall. It would probably have to be in sections, since translucent alabaster is very thin and expensive.
I am sure you could also find a coloured glass that is sandblasted to be translucent.
