I want my bell pierced and ..read on please?

Hi I've been wanting my belly pierced for sometime but my mom keeps saying no . I know why tho . She said maybe at first but then looked up some things about it (cons:( ) and saw that it could stretch if I got taller or gained weight ect. Any tips on how I can convince her now anything would help thanks
 
How old are you?
As long as you take care of it and keep things clean, wear the proper jewelry, ect then not much bad will happen to it.
If you grow or gain weight you can always buy jewelry with a longer bar to fit the piercing better. They even have navel jewelry that pregnant women can wear!
And even if you have to wait till you're 18 to get it pierced, it just shows dedication and you'll probably love your piercing even more.
