i want to cut my hair really short, but i don't know how it will look on me?

i'm going on vacation next week and while i'm away, i'm going to the salon to get my hair cut and colored. right now, it's kinda brown with reddish tones in it, and it's like boob-length. i want to get it bleached blonde (going for the punkish look), and i also want to get it short and choppy, like the girl in this picture:http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa27/bleedingxmuffin/Kiki%20Kannibal/Short%20Blonde%20Hair/1537353.jpgbut i don't know how short hair will look on me. what do you think? should i take a risk and go for it, or should i just dye it?
 
Go against a black background and take a picture of yourself then print it out and take a black sharpie and color over your hair to see what it would look like if it was short.
 
dont do it!trust me, ive cut my hair short and i regret it SOO much. men want to run there hands through your hair haha. long hair is sexy, youll regret cutting it short
 
Haha It says <3 Jakov on her hand. I have something very similar written on my right hand.
 
Since we don't know what you look like, we don't know if it will look good. Ask the stylist. They'll tell you what will look better. Once of the previous answerers said the take a picture of yourself and color over the hair with a black Sharpie...that's a good idea!Good luck!
 
I cut my hair really short one time and had no idea how it would look but it turned out really cute. The thing is because you are getting ready to go on vacay, you shouldn't cut it right before you, because if it does look bad, then you will have to look at it over and over again in your vacay pics.
