I really love reading books. Day and night. Before I go to bed, I feel so giddy to read and my parents practically have to yank the book out of my hand to get me to sleep. That happened once. o__o
But now.. I want to read, but I don't seem to enjoy it. For any book, really. Is it the books that I'm reading that's causing me to feel kind of.. blank. The feeling I'm getting while I'm reading the pages isn't boredom. Its just emotionless, blank. Like a blank white space! I just.. don't feel anything when I'm reading. Not like I used to. Before, I felt like if I put it down, the scene would fade. If I turned a page, its already a new adventure. Now.. BLEH.
@zaki o__o Well, I actually find the books I read /from/ the library. Heh. But.. thanks ..?

You're reading books that you like reading. You're just tired of reading them. Shake it up a little bit. Read some idiots guide materials that will get you to go out and try new things or things that you've shown interest in. Your parents want you to do that. To experience life. Read the books that is a healthy compromise. Use these books and your love of reading to not only appease your parents but to master other interests or to find new ones. Then, in time, you'll open up your usual genre, and you'll enjoy it again.

Read about something you find interesting . For example , if you are fascinated about skydiving , why pick up a book about snorkeling ? There has to be some interest in order for you to want to read,
