a routine? basically iv just started taking lifting seriously, iv been on and off for a year but now iv joined a wicked gym and am ready to build muscle and strength, my only problem is time.. my shift changes every week so it becomes hard to go gym more than twice a week.. so i decided to start doing full body (idealy i will be going 3 times).
my routine will be

Mon- squats/bench/barbell rows
wed-deadlift/shoulderpress/pull ups (unsure weather to do wide or close grip)
friday(maybe sat or sunday)- squats/bench/barbell rows.

i know my arms and abs wont be hit much but im sure deadlifting and squatting will do abs and for arms maybe taking a closer grip so they get brought into my workouts abit more..

supplement wise im taking whey and NOX-EXPLOAD.

does this sound good?

Sounds absolutely spot on - and also like you've found or been given a starting strength routine. It's a brilliant way to start out.

Just wait until you get into it for a few weeks and then tell me your arms aren't getting much of a workout! If you do it right and heavy enough you'll soon change your mind about that!

The week after, swap your routine so your doing 2 deadlift days. i.e. think Workout A, workout B, workout A, workout B... and so on.

As a beginner there is no reason you cannot throw some squats in with every session. They'll do you good!
