i want to travel rather than study what should i do?

I'm 17 and just started studying graphic design at college in august and I'm not really enjoying it at all. I've never really known what I've wanted to do with my life and always felt a bit confused. I've always really wanted to travel the world and have been hoping as soon as possible (I guess when I'm 18) but even I think I'll still be too young.
I have a part time job working in a hotel function suite at absolute minimum wage. I know if I save up enough I'll be able to travel eventually but it just seems so far away.
I just don't want to waste my time and money studying something I don't like and know I'm not going to make a career out of.
And maybe after my travels I may have a better idea of what i want to do with my life.
I'm really stuck, should I leave college and just work full time? I don't know what to do, please help

(ps, I live in Scotland so 4 years of my college/uni fees are already paid for. I just pay for the things I need like prints, plastic sleeves etc. I just feel like I'm wasting this money on something I do not enjoy)

Alexandria! I think you are a bit confused, what I think about you is that you should apply balance between both of the things. You should study first because study is so important, and then you should travel. I know that travelling should be a very important part of life. It helps us to be mature, but study always comes first. I hope that you will think about that.

Alexandria! It seems your interest in traveling. Traveling is my passion too i always want to go somewhere in search of my ideal destinations. But it is not possible for me. Because traveling needs to be money and i travel for my own self or for relaxing my self. When ever i feel tired or wanna enjoy some special occasions i do travel along with my family or friends. If you are not interested in graphic design, then just ask your self and chose that subject in which you are interested... But don't skip your studies at any case...

Alexandria, I agree with Laureen123 and kayly123 . I think you should complete your studies first and then travel any where you want. Studay is the most important part of our lives. After reading your post I am feeling you have great interest in traveling like me and both above members.

Yeah i do agreed with you malickk..!! studies are the most important part of our lives.Nowadays these are necessary for being a successful person. Educations complete a man and make him or her able to live a better life. What you say guys???

Kayly, after reading your previous post I am feeling you have great interest in traveling. I think you have been visited a lot of beautiful regions of the world. Would you like to tell me about your favorite destinations all around the world? And in coming vactions what’s your plan?
