If you have contact with her, I would talk to her about it. You have a legal right to know whether she likes it or not. You can have a DNA test done to see if it is in fact your child. You and the child should have a chance to know each other and if she doesn't allow you to she is just selfish. Even if she doesn't legally, you have rights. Good Luck to you! 
ask the mother an if so be a father ot the child let him know where he comes from a kid all ways wants to know his family past where he or she came from but first an foremost ask mom the possibility and tell her you want to meet the child and explain and be there for him or her

First, I'd try to talk to the mother to find out the truth and then I'd fiind a good lawyer to talk to her.
Maybe your wife had an affair before you two were divorced and that is why she told you she had an abortion. The child may not even belong to you.

wow that must like kill you leavin a daugther behind if she hasn't looked for you then i guess she wanted to raise her child on her own because she probably thought she would be bothering you if anything talk to her and ask her and what about a dna test check it out so you won't have a guilt and if it's your kid then thats another thing...what you goin to do about it face and she'll be where have u been so imagine wow...wish u the best...
