I would like to know the video format for my samsung J700?

Hi All,

i would like to know the video format for the samsung j700

at the moment i am (legally) downloading videos from youtube and converting them to mobile phone format.

when i record a normal video on my phone it saves as M-PEG 4 but there are 2 types of M-PEG 4. an avi kind and i think a 3gp kind, however i have converted into both formats and still they wont play.

i also have a sony ericsson s500 i and have no problem converting to that phone as its a 3gp format but cannot send to samsung j700 as its a different format.

any help would be an advantage and a godsend

The Samsung J700 supports MPEG4/3GP and H263 video formats for video playback and video recording. There is a limitation is its playable video formats, so I always have to transcode other formats of video files, like FLV, MKV, MOV to MPEG4/3GP or H.263 for playing in Samsung J700.

The Samsung J700 video converter I am using is Aunsoft Video Converter which works fine in video converting for Samsung J700.
