Plath. Care to join? "There is something demoralizing about watching two people get more and more crazy about each other, especially when you are the only extra person in the room. It’s like watching Paris from an express caboose heading in the opposite direction - Every second the city gets smaller and smaller, only you feel it's really you getting smaller and smaller and lonelier and lonelier, rushing away from all those lights and that excitement at about a million miles an hour"
- Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar, Chapter 2

Discuss.
The argument that Plath was mad does not take away from the book's merit.

I kind of think is true...I mean love is such a wonderful thing right...but I don't know how much people should love you know? Sometimes I see all these couples and I'm like ...well, I wish I could have something like that...because it just looks so great....but there are x-tremes...I once read a book...and it said something about centering your life. And if you center your life and absolutely everything you do around that person you love, then you are going to start loosing your life...

~good quote.
