icm.xvid codec needed to play movie i downloaded?

you could search for the codecs through google or just download VLC because tbh realplayer is not very good movie player
 
I downloaded a bit torrent movie and when i go to play it with my real player i get a message saying i need to update with icm.xvid codec but real player doesnt have the update? Also when i play the movie i do get sound just no video! what do i need to do? im new at bit torrents
