...assume she may be interested (24yr m)? I am a 24yr old male still in school. There is a female in my class who I say hi to when she comes into the class, but never had a chance to talk. She randomly friend requested me and I didn't know if this was just a friendly gesture or was she trying to see if I was dating anyone. We don't know each other enough to call each other 'friends' and I had to of been in her mind to go through the trouble of looking me up!! Women are fascinating creatures.

If that's the case, then she might be a facebook 'friend wh*re' who just likes to appear to have a lot of friends.
Some people just go around friend requesting every single person that they can remember having met throughout their entire lives.
So I would say that you shouldn't assume that she likes you just yet.
Now, if she makes special efforts to comment on things or to talk to you on facebook or in person then you could definitely assume that. Especially if she is smiling and laughing a lot.
I know that you're thinking that if YOU friend requested a girl that you didn't know too well it would probably be because you were interested in her. Girls don't think that way though. We are genuinely just friendly with people oftentimes. Even guys. So don't assume anything unless she puts in some more effort here. Or if you are interested in her, you should comment on her statuses and then see how she responds to better asses the situation. Good luck

No, you shouldn't assume that she's interested. On Facebook, all she has to do is type in you name in the search feature. She may be interested though. But, she could be just adding you because she wants to be friends ors he is just nosy or wants to be able to contact you about school.
