Instead of paying monthly charges I might buy the smartphone and the SIMS card, will or does the company charge a monthly rate anyway? If a monthly charge still exist, will the charge be the same for an unlimited plan.
I write this because my father owns an iPHONE, Blackberry, Microsoft, and one other. He purchased these smartphones full price and says he pays no fees for using the phone. He set them up to run on the Information from one sims card.
So, does paying the full price for a smartphone and using a SIMS card wash out monthly charges for phone talk, texting and web usage?
