passenger's rate of travel? The passenger's rate of travel with the ground? Answer and explanation please.

yes the answer is correct

see the train is travelling at 130 km/h that means that if the person is stationary then he too is travelling at 130 km/h ..if he increases hs speed from 0 - 5 km/h then his overall speed to 135 kn/h...but .. but that doesn't mean he'll reach the destination earler.

Explaination...see, the train moves at 130 km/h and you are moving towards it's engine at the front and of course you 'll reach the engine your speed has got to be more than 130 kmphs to reach the end .. else you'd never reach there..
 
if the passenger was walking to the rear, 130 - 5 = 125km/h
