yes, she just needs more calories. I was hungrier when breastfeeding than I was pregnant. Both might be draining on the Mothers body, not the fetus.

Yes. It happens all the time.
My mother got pregnant with my brother while i was still only 2 months old. She breastfed me til i was 7 months and my brother came out normal. He's now 26.

The female body is designed to provide for the baby inside her and the breastfeeding baby first. The mom would be the only one to suffer if she didn't eat right and take her prenatals. The babies would work together to strip her body of all nurtients if she had a poor diet.

you have to eat an extra 500 calories for the milk supply and an extra 300 calories for the baby. you actually lose the 500 calories you ate through breastfeeding. and normally you dont have to actually start eating the extra 300 calories till your baby is about 25wks or so. so right now just focus on a 2500 calories diet and you be fine. until about 20weeks you need to be on a 2800 calorie diet. of course youll lose the 500 due to breastfeeding, but the extra 300 will be for your baby. youll be fine =)

but of course if you dont keep up w all the #'s youll just end up being verrrryy tired because both babies will take up all the nutrients they need =)

Yes the fetus would receive proper nutrition and so would the infant. The breast are meant to sustain the infant and the womb to sustain the fetus the one thats really going to feel it is the woman especially if she is not eating properly she will be tired alot lol
