If Abraham Lincoln grew up in a log cabin, does that mean he wasn't a

Lincoln was mentally ill. He had severe depression; he said of himself, "I must be the most miserable person on Earth." Others said of him, "Melancholy dripped from him as he walked." But in those days, mental illness was not as much of a stigma as it is now; people respected those who had heavier burdens, and still carried them. Lincoln "manned up" and succeeded despite his horrible gloominess.

Lincoln, despite his extra-constitutional behavior, was one of the greatest leaders in history. If he was born today, he would be heavily medicated and wouldn't amount to squat.
