Hi guys,

I been hearing on NPR and reading internet articles that doctors complain about they are well educated, intelligent humanitarians, but they complain about being salaried employees and they're underpaid, while union sanitation workers are catching up to specialist with 6 figure salaries and with a better union then in medicine and they just pick up garbage!

What's going on in the United States? I mean how much is taken out of a doctors salary? Just taxes right?

Ask your doctor how many hours he put in.
And think about the responsibility? If you know what that means.
And think about how many sanitation workers can provide medical care. Now compare that number to the number of doctors that can pick up trash.

The average doctor makes around $125K per year. They work around 60 hours per week and spend over $300K on their education.

A city garbage man makes more than that, as do most city firemen.

Most doctors I know are in business for themselves. So they have to pay their employees, their rent, new equipment, continuing education, and oh yeah...

MALPRACTICE INSURANCE

You become a doctor because you want to help people, not for the salary that accompanies it. People become doctors for all the wrong reasons.

That's all I have to say.
