If facial beauty is objective, does that foster better adaptation?

If we assume for a moment that facial beauty is scientifically objective (that most people, including infants, will agree on who's beautiful and who's not), should we also believe that this is evidence that beautiful people are the most adaptive, and therefore better-suited to survive and reproduce?

Keep in mind that survival of the species involves a variety of traits.
