If I dropped my phone in water, will Verizon insurance..?

cover it? I really need a new phone ASAP but don't want to spend a lot of money. I read that I will have to pay $50 for a new one? But it will be the same phone right? Cause I have the storm. & the storm 2 just came out. If i tell them i lost it, they will give me another for $50. Is this correct? But I want the storm 2. Would I have to pay full price for it? What should I do?

Insurance will get you a refurbished replacement of the same model.
You cant upgrade with insurance. So if you want the storm 2 you need to either upgrade or pay full retail.

water damage is not covered it voids the warranty you will probably have 2 buy a cheap pre paid and use that until you can get a new one
