If i get a alltel pre-paid phone off the internet will I have to activate...

so u just use the credit card to buy the phone...and not to activate it..?

You don't have to get a plan, but you use your credit card online, you just have to answer the information.How do I know this? I have a pre - paid cellphone, and when you get the phone you have a sim code but no credit card activate's it. And get more minutes by going on the site of the company, and enter your code, I forget if you have to activate the phone, but not with a credit card definitely.
