I just played guitar for a wedding rehearsal dinner for one of my good childhood friends. Before the gig, I had already told my friends' parents that I would play for $125 minimum. This would at least cover the gas expense since I had to drive 7 hours to get there and then 7 hours to get back home.

I played the gig. It was quick... but afterwards I only got paid $85.

Now... these are my good friends. I don't want to make a big deal out of it. After all, the wedding is tomorrow and they'll have enough to worry about already without me complaining about how I didn't get paid enough. I want to remain great friends with them but I also want to ensure I got paid enough.

Should I just let it go and not make a big deal about it? Should I approach the parents at the wedding and tell them I didn't get enough money last night?

I don't know... I mean, I just feel like a selfish jerk if I ask them for more money while they're dealing with their child's wedding day. What would you suggest? Let it go... or demand i get paid the agreed upon amount on the day of their child's wedding?
