...from a different country? I have a T-mobile LG Optimus P509 I would like to take and leave it in my country ( Guatemala ). Will I be able to activate it there? Or do I have to unlock it or something? It is a gsm phone
 
oh yeah there something called an "unlocking software "
i live in pakistan and i can get it in any mobile device shop
they should have it in Guatemala
if not google it
 
If its not sim or network locked you can use it anywhere with any company that can provide a sim
