...from a different country? I have a T-mobile LG Optimus P509 I would like to take and leave it in my country ( Guatemala ). Will I be able to activate it there? Or do I have to unlock it or something? It is a gsm phone

oh yeah there something called an "unlocking software "
i live in pakistan and i can get it in any mobile device shop
they should have it in Guatemala
if not google it
