If i install a android os on my iphone can i use it to tether a wifi

connection to give a pc net ? Iphones wont allow me to tether WifI androids do, and im not trying to tether 3g
But is there a iphone "jailbroken" app that allows WIFI tethering i dont need 3g tethering
actually it seems that u dont understand what im trying to do which is very ez with a driod is have the phone connected to my wifi at home, then using a usb cable connect it to my pc then click tether and Viola Wifi tethered from phone to pc, Now im asking if i install th Droid os on iphone can i still do that or is there a jail broken app that would allow me to do so with out android
 
I'm not sure you understand how tethering works. Tethering shares your devices 3G connection, you cant share a wifi connection. Unless you mean tether wirelessly thru sending it out as a wifi connection. In that case there two jail broken chooses. One is mywi however it is a one time $20 app and carriers can detect you tethering and may put you on a tethering plan without your approval. Second is PDAnet which is free has a hide feature.
