If I put a lot of apps and some movies on my 32gb iTouch, will that make it slower?

It's the 4th gen. If I put 200-300 apps on it and a few tv shows and movies, will it still run just as fast? I have plenty of memory to do it, but I don't want to make my iPod slow.
