If I traded my car and now the person wants his back, do I have to say yes?

I traded my car for a scooter plus cash. We did the bill of sale , I was given the money and we exchanged keys. Now the person called the nexed day basically changing his mind and wanting to reverse the trade. Do I have to oblige? I told him I would because hes willing to forgo getting his cash back which I do find odd, but I was straight up in saying I cannot pay it back and do not want a burden of feeling like I have to. He is very cordial about it so I couldnt really say no, but Im dissapointed too because I do not want to reverse the trade.
