If i use VPN to go through the internet...?

It will use the VPN's IP since it is connecting to another network.
 
If i use a VPN program to go through the internet will it hide my real ip address since im connecting to the VPN?

If it does my next question is, i play lots of yahoo games, people have ways of finding other peoples ip addresses, will they find my ip address or the VPNs?

So if i go to yahoo games through VPN, once again will it see my real ip or the VPNs?

When i say yahoo games i mean yahoo pool and hearts.
VPN Software im going to use is Steganos.
