what are some questions i should ask to people of that religion?
I'm having a hard time thinking of questions to ask!

I'm doing a features article for journalism (high school newspaper.)

Thanks!
In my high school, we have very little Jewish people! Most people are Christian. I've only found two students that are Jewish but i know that there are more since we have LOTS more freshmen this year!

Thanks for the websites.

where are you, that you can't find someone of that persuasion to talk to? I had a 'Jewish' roommate in college for a couple of years, and learned a lot. He was one of few people I have known who could study an idea without attacking the person presenting the idea.

Judaism is the practice of worship ping Yah'(Elojim) The GOD of Israel and creator of all things. Judaism started with Avram(Abraham). It's more than a religion it's a people and a brother group. Judaism is the Jewish Hebrew people and Christians who truly adhere to Jewish customs as God instructs. Well in a nutshell it's the one monotheistic faith that has more to do with a people than any other. Also see Zionism, Israel, and Ancient Judaism

ask about major holidays and the meaning and symbolism of them (and their favorite jewish holidays!)
ask about their favorite jewish food and have them explain what the food actually is
the meaning of the torah to them (its basically the old testament + jewish laws all written in hebrew)
talk about their point of view on Israel
ask about whether they keep kosher or not and why
ask them how much they attend 'shul' (shool) or synagogue
ask them what being jewish means to them

response: what are the basics of your religion?

what branch/movement do you belong to?

what is kashrut?

how is shabbat observed in your movement?

what are your beliefs about the Jewish Messiah to come?

that's a start - starring for others. Leave the question open - its Shabbat, most Jews are offline
