I am aware that you follow the teachings of paul and such, but if judaism was good enough for jesus, why have an entirely different religion?

*Disclaimer: i am aware jesus was a fictional character, plagerised from older religions*

It is questionable who Jesus was and whoever they were they rocked the boat for the Jewish community so the Romans shut him up with torture techniques then made him a martyr to make it all OK he obviously rebelled against control by the state and caused trouble.

Its one big deception and cover-up to line the pockets of the state be it in Rome or wherever there is hoards of gold ironically there is no gold in Fort Knox so where is it? The Pope has a feckin room lined with the stuff.
Everything is connected too much power makes poverty famine and war those creating it are reaping benefit from the needy and naive this is plain, look at all the charities run by some of the richest people going.

It IS a conspiracy to play on everyones conscience they make people feel guilt and get pleasure from sacrificing the poor through the money making war machine which the state control of course with our money lying gangster ******* b@stard c***s!!!

No offense, but your answer made no sense at all, and was incorrect.
Now, the person below you has the correct answer.

Oldguy:
Don't you mean the new christian way, as to ditch the old jewish version? How can you teach out of the old testament, but disregard it at the same time because of the fact that jews wrote it and their old God that you always believed in throughout the whole ot, now wasnt the god you wanted him to be?
I think this is why the jews were the scapegoat with Jesus. The christians wanted the new God to be a nicer God, but the jews, who wrote the ot, knew some things just weren't right, like the descendant line from King David to Jesus, especially if Joseph wasn't his father. The jews knew that Jesus wasn't the messiah because they had a list of rules that you had to follow, that they had followed all throughout the ot, and no one ever had a problem with them, until the christians decided that Jesus was to be the messiah, and if you can't shut the jews up about the messiah law, then make them look like haters of Jesus.
It frustrates me that people can't see this when it is staring them in the face.

because paul et al, needed a scapegoat--kinda like adolf--and who but the jews fit the bill? i know people who actually believe jesus was catholic or christian. duh

Well Jesus abolished the law of Judaism and made a “religion” that was open to all of mankind, not just people of Jewish ancestry.

*Disclaimer: There is more historical evidence (outside the bible) that Jesus walked on this earth then Julius Caesar.

I think Dave gave the same answer than me but let me guide to another thing with 2 links, I understand what you mean by plagerised:

"why have an entirely different religion?"
when Christianity is followed correctly it isn't a different religion, heck the early Church was nothing more than a sect of Judaism. it was only after centuries of the combination the persecution of those that followed Jewish tradition and being rejected from the Jews along with the creation of the RCC that Christianity became it's own religion.

"*Disclaimer: i am aware jesus was a fictional character, plagerised from older religions*"
why would people choose to die saying a man existed if they made up the story themselves? and saying that he was plagerized from other religions is debate-able even if he was made up.

not the teachins of paul..there's no such thing. its the teachings of God. who gave paul those words to speak? God. so they are God's teachings.

The answer to that lies in the cross of Christ. He did away with the legalism of the OT Law and introduced grace a the means of eternal salvation. A totally new and better way.

Jesus was jewish by heritage, okay? He's the Son of God, anyways, He doesn't need a religion, He is His own religion. and no, He was/is not fictional. get your mind right.

Because we follow Christ.

BTW, don't forget that St. Paul & all the rest of the Apostles were Jewish too. And the Lord Jesus Is an Historical Person.
