If Judaism is religion, how can Jews be considered a race with higher IQ?

Anybody can convert to Judaism but it does not mean his/her IQ will jump 10 points because of the conversion. I have met all kinds of Jews from all walks of life. So Jews being smarter than any other race is simply not true.
Nadine, if I was racist, I would have married one.
 
Whatta question.

Jews are not a race regardless of what some website or government agency says.
We are a 'people' from many ethnicities and backgrounds.

As far as I.Q.? I think our value on education is what makes us strive to learn more. But, I know some people of my own who aren't that bright. There's all types in every group.
 
Jews don't welcome converts and aren't keen on their members marrying outside their community. This has been so for millenia. Consequently, they are genetically different from other Caucasians in various ways, for instance some of them carry Tay-Sachs Disease and the men's Y chromosomes are particularly alike. However, i don't think it has any bearing on their intelligence, which is more a cultural thing.

Jews are people who went astray and rejected God's word. Do you really think if they were chosen and given higher IQ they would get lost and turn into nonbelievers?
 
so what your saying is that the collected statistics contradict your personal experience therefore the statistics are wrong.

they're not a race... jewish is ethno-religious you can be a religious jew, non-religious jew or jewish (religious not by ethnicity)
