Would he retire as one of the Top 5 Quarterbacks to ever play the game?
Sure you could make that argument for others such as Unitus, Starr, and Graham, but when you think about it, Roger literally retired as the best, if not the second best to play the game, when he did retire. His 83.4 career quarterback rating was the best of any quarterback when he retired in 79. Also, when you consider that he only played 7 seasons as the Cowboys starter, he took them to the Super Bowl 4 of those years. If he played today, I undoubtedly would say he would be in the Brady Manning argument. He would also have far better stats given the transition from a running league in his age to a passing league in our modern era. He is normally a Top 10 on most list, but given what he did for the short amount of time he played, I would seriously consider placing him amongst the Top 5
