...them to tell you? Let's say you're taking a nice walk on a beach. You can see for miles; there are no trucks around, and it would be practically impossible for any to get to the beach, especially without being seen.
Now, suppose someone believes you were about to be run over by a truck, despite having no evidence whatsoever of it.
Would you want them to tell you? Or would you want them to keep quite about the coming disaster? Do you want them not to force their belief of your demise down your throat?
Would you be grateful to them for warning you? What would you think of them?
What if they kept insisting you were about to be run over by a truck, despite having no evidence?
What if they tackled you, and claimed they just saved you from being run over, but that you're still in danger?
What if they started convincing others to warn you of this imminent danger, and to start tackling you as well?
