...Satan, knowing what he would become? Why would God want to be responsible by proxy for creating evil and destroying the perfection of the universe?
 
Satan actually provides a useful service for God by weeding out the weak of faith and self-control through temptation and in that way clearly identifies those who are not qualified for salvation.
