If torrents are illegel then y they r available on net? n the sites that contains such things should be blockd ? developer can do case in court then y they don't?

any one who explain it clearly will get 10 points immediately.. I'm waiting for ur valuable replyz. thanks in advance..... :)

Torrents are not illegal its just a way of file sharing! now the content in the torrent may be illegal and most sites that host torrents are out of the US and their countries support piracy as a try before you buy policy

Torrents themselves are not illegal, though sharing illegal content with them is. A copyright holder's usual response to discovering a torrent with their work is to send the website a takedown request. The website will then usually comply and remove the torrent. The torrent are usually submitted by users of the website, rather than by the site administrators themselves. They can therefore deny any responsibility for illegal content their users upload so long as they remove individual illegal torrents that are brought to their attention.

Of course the illegal torrent will just be re-uploaded to other sites, or even just by a different user on the same site.
