...still promote him at UFC 98? Yesterday Frank Mir had stated that he notified the UFC weeks ago that he had gotten injured. Yet, as of this past week, UFC sent a press release stating that the main event for UFC 98 was Mir vs Lesnar and that tickets would go on sale Saturday (yesterday). My question is why did the UFC wait until AFTER the tickets went on sale to tell us the Mir/Lesnar fight would not happen? Why not say this last week before tickets went on sale? Did anybody else notice this? Here is the video from yesterday where Mir states he notified the UFC weeks ago.

Ok Mir said he got his knee checked last Monday! They still had a week to tell us the fight got cancelled and they didnt!
 
Its because Mir didn't want the fight canceled until he had gotten his knee checked out by his doctor to determine the extent of the injury.
