if you breath in second hand smoke will it ever leave?

hey guys

so last night, i was at a party and i went outside for some air because i wasnt feeling very well. then 3 people cam out and started smoking. now i know lungs try and filter out everything thats not ocsigen so if smoke goes in it wont leave. now i accidentally breathed in some of there second hand smoke i tried my best not to, i like moved to a different part away from them but some still got in. so i was wondering, will this smoke ever leave my lungs or will i carry it around with me the rest of my life and have a very slight increase in cancer

im not trying to be overe dramatic about the cancer im just wondering
