listen to you and do as you say, do you think that if your child (todler, preschooler) were to step out on the road and you were not close enough to grab them instantly and yelled STOP, that they would immediately STOP?
Bob, that was a very lucky situation. Yes, people are basically and good and if someone driving sees that the child is running out and an adult is trying to stop the child, they are going to stop. Are you willing to take the chance that the person sees this in time and that they are able to stop in time?
